THE LOOT
MADOFF OR MADE-OFF, HE IS STILL A THIEF.
How can anyone take seriously a fellow with the name Madoff, especially when he insists it should be pronounced Made-off. Surely this is a sign that your goods and chattels are not safe, whatever the man and his neighbours say, particularly when they are of the same ilk, with hefty commissions involved.
I can only think that his wealthy clientele thought themselves far too clever and powerful, to be taken to the cleaners by this conjurer.
My problem lies in the age old question: where’s the loot?
I mean 50 billion in any currency, excepting the Zimbabwe geld, is quite a sum, difficult to hide but large enough to work miracles.
I am sure it is all a mistake and Mr. M. has not made off with the goods, he has just misplaced them, but being rather advanced in years, he perhaps suffers a memory condition.
This ailment is quite common nowadays, particularly in politics and finance, so until medical science progresses a touch more, we will have to excuse the dear old man.
